Understanding & Adjusting Moderation Settings (Overview)
There are two places where teachers can change student moderation settings: Manage Communities and Manage Students.
Community moderation settings are set globally for EACH community in the “Manage Communities” panel. Community moderation settings determine whether moderation is turned on or off for that community.
See the “Adjusting Community Moderation Settings” section for more information.
Student moderation settings are specific to EACH student and are set on a per-student basis in the “Manage Students” panel. Student moderation settings can be set one of three ways: Trust, Community Setting, or Always Moderate.

IMPORTANT: Student moderation settings OVERRIDE community moderation settings, unless the student moderation setting is set to “community setting.”
See the “Adjusting Student Moderation Settings” section for more information.
