Communities Overview

Communities Overview

In MySciLife, we call classes or groups “communities.” Communities are places where students and teachers can interact and learn together. Teachers create communities for their classes or groups. There is also a “Main Stream” community accessible to everyone within MySciLife and a “Teacher Community” accessible to only teachers.

Students often practice and polish posts in their class communities before sharing them to the public, “real world” of the Main Stream Community. The communities created by teachers are private and they do not have interaction with other science identities in other locations. Your teacher may use class communities to help you get your posts ready for the Main Stream.
