Create A New Community

Create A New Community

To create a new community:

Create A New Community
  1. Hover over/click the Teacher Tools menu icon and click on Manage Communities.
  2. Click the “+Create Community” button at the top.
  3. In the shadowbox, give your new community a name and assign a unique access code.
  4. Click “Create.”
The new community is now available in your Community dropdown menu at the top of your screen. If you’d like to jump to that community, click the community name.
Tip: Teachers new to MySciLife will probably want to create a separate “Playspace” or “Sandbox” community to use to experiment with the tools of MySciLife away from the view of others. Having a “Playspace” community and a sample student account allows you to test out the tools before asking students to use them.
