The Public Stream (Overview)
The Public Stream is a portion of MySciLife that is visible to everybody on the web, even people without MySciLife accounts. To show the world the great work MySciLife students are doing, teachers will want to allow posts to show in The Public Stream. Student posts can appear in the Public Stream ONLY if that student has parent permission for their work to be visible to the general public, even though the posts show only the “identity” name, not a student name.

Important: The Public Stream automatically shows Main Stream posts where the “Show in Public Stream” checkbox is checked AND when Public Stream sharing permission has been turned on for each student by the teacher.
See the “Manage Students” section for more information on how to manage Public Sharing controls.
